8:27am: Good Morning! We are live blogging from Change Camp Ottawa 2009 at City Hall.
You can follow our comments here or or check out the event and participants comments on Twitter at #cco09.
9:09am: Photo upload. We are setting up, people are arriving and ipods, laptops and cameras are flashing as we collectively document the days events.
9:34am: We are trying to live stream throughout the day.
9:56am: Session ideas are still flowing! Looks like there is at least 1 idea per participant. Live stream audio is sketchy, we hope it will improve when we stream the sessions.
What's really cool is how this "un-conference" is self-organizing. Some really interesting sessions are developing. Like how to convince DND to adopt an open data policy ... wow! Or how to get supervisors comfortable with Wiki (as one person described it, they'll agree as long as the edit function is disabled ... LOL). No sage on a stage here ... just lots of really engaged and engaging citizens. Oops ... we get to go play now. We'll check in a mo ....
11:20am: stimuluswatch.ca session about to begin....
11:42am: Getting an audio recording of the stimuluswatch.ca session. We will post the audio later.
11:53am: Great discussion on how we get the data that tracks the spending via Canadians, public servants, auto feeds....
11:59am: To learn more about Change Camp, go here: www.changecamp.ca
12:20am: Senator McCoy commenting on first break out session
1:44pm: You can go to the Change Camp Wiki to read more on what was discussed in the stimuluswatch.ca session
3:46pm: Winding down for the day. We are left with a lot to think about.

Glad to hear this went well -- though sometimes, I find, these sessions can end up being more about the technology than what the technology can and should enable.
But sounds like that wasn't the case here, so that's good! Looking forward to more on this.

Perhaps it would be usefull to tell us what "Change Camp" is all about? :)
Oh, and that over 800k "inspiration" pic is a bit much for us dialuppers, had to wait for it to load before being able to comment... whine, snivel.
