I have said it before and I will say it again. Canadians are valiantly fighting global warming by achieving significant changes in their lives. Elected leaders, however, continue to ignore its responsibility not only to Canadians, but the world. Tired but not broken from their wait, a new website has been launched by concerned businesses, think tanks and individuals in an effort to create a single forum where Canadians can join together in a push for progressive legislation.

PowerUP Canada has received support from four former Prime Ministers and the likes of Margaret Atwood and Rachael McAdams.

You too, can sign up to "join my fellow Canadians in urging our federal government to enact stronger global warming laws and policies." Sad really that it had to come to this, but perhaps this initiative may light the proverbial fire...
