Raising tobacco taxes only results in two major things. The poor become poorer, and the black market becomes more profitable. Anyone with an ounce of common sense should realize this. Family and Education are the answers in helping youths to not begin this terrible addiction. For those that are addicted, then some kind of Medical Help is needed, to help those of us that want to quit, quit. The Government doesn't mind taking all of those tax dollars generated by us smokers through the buying of this poison. That money should be spent on programs to help out smokers in their pursuit of becoming tobacco and nicotine  free. The morons that keep raising the prices forget what it's like to be a teenager. They are very resourceful and no matter how high you set the price, they will always find a way, to get smokes.
